The nicest sky we’ve had in a long time…

…A shame it’s night time!

I apologise for the fuzziness of the photo, but this is the best I can do with my camera until I have one with a better night time facility and a tripod, but you get the idea of the drama in the view of the moon moving in and out of scattered cloud cover. It’s not so scattered now as it’s raining, so I’m glad I seized the moment!

  1. Jennie, Tesco have a 3.3 l slow cooker which looks exactly the same as mine only slightly smaller, for 9.99 ( half price) at the moment…

sorry to put this in the wrong place but i just missed you on my blog!

Ooh, thanks for this! I’ve got to go shopping tomorrow anyway, so I’ll search it out! And if not they’ve got them on the website – fab! Thanks for thinking of me!

  2. Love the pic!!

I was pondering last night on how the weather was so awful this September that I don’t think I saw a single Harvest Moon- how very depressing, I always loved them as a child!

Thank you! I would have liked to have rested the camera on a handy car roof to get a steadier shot, but I was worried that I’d set the alarm off (not my car!) and so I decided to exercise discretion and get the steadiest hand held shot I could manage. Besides, the owner of the car I was thinking of was looking out of his window at the time, and I think he thought I was about to try nicking the car!

  3. Thanks for stopping by! That’s a great photo, fuzziness and all!

  4. You’ve got mail 🙂

  5. One of the few things I miss since we moved to Cardiff is the night sky. Do you remember the huge sky over the back lawn studded with millions of stars. It really put our bit of the universe in perspective. A tiny speck.
