I'm Jennie, married (to Gadget Guy, or GG) with two children who will be referred to here as Handsome and Cheeky. I have been feeling that my brain was starting to go soft as the majority of the conversation I have is with people who still believe in Father Christmas and who believe that the biggest tragedy in life is being denied pudding! With this in mind, I decided to start a blog to express some of my thoughts and interests. I also want to reconnect with old friends who I haven't paid enough attention to in recent years, and also maybe pick up a few new friends along the way.
Chapters and blueberry muffins
Well, when you think that I haven’t actually committed myself to taking part in NaNoWriMo yet, I’ve done quite a lot of work towards it! I’m about half way through the chapter summaries at the moment, and I also have quite a few notes about various characters and locations for my book. There is one thing which I will definitely be doing if I do take part in the month of madness in November (which is looking more and more likely). I will definitely be doing the stereotypical writer thing of camping out in a cafe for an afternoon, writing while I watch the world go by and overdosing on caffeine and blueberry muffins! I’ve always wanted to do that, and this would be the perfect opportunity!
